UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH — American University of Sharjah has moved its Spring commencement from Saturday, June 6 to Sunday, June 21.
An email sent Wednesday by the office of Chancellor Tod A. Laursen said the change is intended to ensure the best possible experience for graduates and their guests.
Commencement rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday, June 18. Graduating students have been contacted directly with additional details.
In the email, the chancellor acknowledged the support of faculty, staff, classmates and family members and thanked them for their flexibility and understanding as the schedule is adjusted.
