{"id":1167,"date":"2021-02-26T05:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-26T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcmmediahub.aus.edu\/?p=1167"},"modified":"2021-05-18T10:51:12","modified_gmt":"2021-05-18T06:51:12","slug":"xposure-international-photography-festival-sharjah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcmmediahub.aus.edu\/index.php\/2021\/02\/26\/xposure-international-photography-festival-sharjah\/","title":{"rendered":"Xposure International Photography Festival, Sharjah"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1OBgWBBxckLkQ0VmgWPdMDdtMFkhd54K-\/preview\" width=\"720\" height=\"394\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Journalism student Tuqa Al Ayoubi reports on Sharjah&#8217;s Xposure Photography Festival<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By Tuqa Al Ayoubi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SHARJAH- The works of international photographers were exhibited at Xposure, a 4-day annual photography festival, held Feb. 10-13 at Expo Centre, Al Taawun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xposure included multiple events: Exhibitions, training workshops, live stage demonstrations, seminars, presentations, film screenings and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This yearly festival hosts the largest photographic and film consumers show in the region.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xposure has recently showcased more than 25 exhibitions from professional and emerging photographers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibitions included stories and images of war from the region, African wildlife, architecture from Morocco, and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharjah Government Media Bureau started the Xposure festival in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A wall in the festival is dedicated to showcasing the works of professional photographers who won awards in the photography and film categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the exhibitions displayed the best of images featured in the 2019 Siena International Photography Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Siena International Photography contest was open to professional and amateur photographers globally and had the highest international participation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xposure is an event that appeals to all age groups.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Journalism student Tuqa Al Ayoubi reports on Sharjah&#8217;s Xposure Photography Festival By Tuqa Al Ayoubi SHARJAH- The works of international photographers were exhibited at Xposure, a 4-day annual photography festival, held Feb. 10-13 at Expo Centre, Al Taawun.
