{"id":1343,"date":"2021-03-20T13:30:45","date_gmt":"2021-03-20T09:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcmmediahub.aus.edu\/?p=1343"},"modified":"2021-03-27T06:54:54","modified_gmt":"2021-03-27T02:54:54","slug":"virtual-piano-recital-to-feature-disney-movie-themes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcmmediahub.aus.edu\/index.php\/2021\/03\/20\/virtual-piano-recital-to-feature-disney-movie-themes\/","title":{"rendered":"Virtual piano recital to feature Disney movie themes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Abdul Nauman<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH \u2013 American University of Sharjah\u2019s Performing Arts Program will hold a virtual piano recital in mid-April featuring Disney movie themes played by the applied lessons students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During an interview conducted on Feb. 28, performing arts professor Natalia Tykhonova explained her plan to release an online virtual piano concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organized by the AUS Performing Arts Program, the concert will showcase the applied piano students\u2019 abilities; however, it will not be including applied voice students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The piano students will be playing mostly Disney movie songs, keeping with the theme of the Spring semester.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tykhonova said that she prefers that students play in person to train students for future live concerts.
