UNIVERSITY CITY\u2013 Students who left the American University of Sharjah\u2019s dormitories <\/strong>are advised not to come back to their residential halls until further notice, said Vice Provost for Student Life Lisa Moscaritolo in a Tuesday email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moscaritolo wrote that AUS did not yet receive a confirmation from the United Arab Emirates\u2019 Ministry of Education regarding \u201cthe resumption of face-to-face classes.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n Senior Manager of Student Residential Life Issam Zaarob wrote in a March 11 email that students should contact their dormitory supervisors if they are feeling unwell or have been in physical contact with anyone who has coronavirus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The University Health Center will remain open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, Zaarob said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIn the case of treatment required after opening hours, an on-call nurse will be available,\u201d Zaarob added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Safety precautions resulted in the suspension of classes in all institutions across the country from <\/p>\n\n\n\n March 8 to April 5.
