From the methods of production to the instruments being used, few things are the same. Back in the 1950s, musicians relied on physical instruments such as guitars, drums basses and keyboards, whereas now all those instruments can be emulated electronically. Although there is no real reason as to why tastes changed the way they did, they changed, nonetheless.
