{"id":3832,"date":"2022-10-12T08:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-12T04:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcmmediahub.aus.edu\/?p=3832"},"modified":"2023-03-30T12:48:13","modified_gmt":"2023-03-30T08:48:13","slug":"professor-devised-theatre-essential-for-creativity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcmmediahub.aus.edu\/index.php\/2022\/10\/12\/professor-devised-theatre-essential-for-creativity\/","title":{"rendered":"Professor: Devised Theatre essential for creativity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Salma Ghalwash<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH \u2013 With the rise of mass media and film becoming more commercial, the freeform nature of Devised Theatre is important in enhancing creativity, an American University of Sharjah professor said Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDevised Theatre is the oldest form of theatre, and the most significant form of theatre as we move into the 21st century,\u201d said Theatre Professor Anthony Tassa.
