SHARJAH \u2013 Starting Aug. 16, the American University of Sharjah Leisure Center Swimming Pool will be open for limited resident community use from Sunday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to an AUS email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The email noted that, under the reopening, visitors under 21 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Members may use the pool for 90 minutes with eight users per slot. Users will be required to follow strict guidelines. Masks should be worn as much as possible, and staff will check guests\u2019 temperature upon arrival. Suitable clothes should be worn prior to arrival as changing facilities and wash rooms will not be available. The outdoor shower will continue to be in use. Social distancing should be strictly followed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
AUS is also asking residents interested in using the pool to complete a waiver form and email it to sardbookings@aus.edu<\/a>. Ladies-only hours (including boys up to 5) are available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Bookings will be available on a first come first serve basis by emailing callcenter@aus.edu<\/a>.
