UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – Featuring virtual auditorium sessions and webinars with professionals, American University of Sharjah’s Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs hosted a Virtual Career Fair (VCF) on March 16.
The online 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. event, organized by the university’s Career Development Unit, brought industry representatives and students together to discuss internship and career opportunities. Students were also able to learn more about companies such as PwC, Deloitte, Emaar, and Standard Chartered.
The event was held on AUS’s website and prior registration was required. The registered students then received an email of confirmation with access to the website where they could interact with more than 30 of the biggest employers and recruiters in the UAE.
This event was exclusive to AUS students and alumni.
“I will be looking forward to another VCF, it was really helpful,” said attendee Nadha Nazeer.
