Ayana Niyaz is a sophomore student who is majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications at the American University of Sharjah. She is a previous consumer of Shein, one the largest online fast fashion brands and a member of the Generation Z community. Niyaz discusses her thoughts on the link between Gen Z and fast fashion and how she was able to stop her fast fashion consumption by promoting fashion sustainability.
