SHARJAH – All students, faculty, and staff are expected to have green pass status on Al Hosn app from Sept. 26 as per COVID-19 prevention protocols, the American University of Sharjah Health Services department announced on Saturday.
According to the email, the Ministry of Education has updated requirements for accessing university buildings, allowing only fully vaccinated personnel with a PCR every 14 days or an approved exemption.
All individuals at AUS who are not fully vaccinated must have a negative PCR test every seven days. The university offers free PCR testing near the plaza between the AD 2 building and the student center. Testing will be open (by online appointment) from 4-7 p.m. Saturday through Thursday.
