UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – The Office of Student Affairs at the American University of Sharjah hosts AUS Leopards Day Nov. 17 in the Student Center starting at 12:30 p.m.

According to an OSA email, Leopards Day is part of events marking the university’s 25th anniversary, and will feature the unveiling of the university’s new leopard mascot costume. Students can also receive a stuffed leopard and may enter a student-only competition to take pictures of the plush animal in locations over the UAE and beyond, posting them on the OSA’s Instagram page using the hashtag #FollowtheAUSLeopard.

The OSA invites all students, staff, and faculty to wear AUS colors or merchandise on Nov. 17 if they are unable to attend the festivities at the Student Center.

University merchandise is available on the official AUS website but a merchandise pop-up stand will operate at the One Stop center everyday starting next week from 1-4 p.m. Only credit card payments will be available and eight percent of the payments will contribute to the AUS scholarship fund.
