UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH— American University of Sharjah administrator Enas Tabakhah, a fixture in the College of Arts and Sciences dean’s office for 16 years, will leave to become manager of the provost’s office, the CAS dean announced Monday.
Dr. Mahmoud Anabtawi announced the transition in an email to faculty.
While he congratulated Ms. Tabakhah on her new position, he expressed sadness at her leaving. He praised her work and commitment to faculty and staff during her tenure in CAS.
She is continuing her work with CAS until a replacement is appointed to ensure a smooth transition, the dean added.
