UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – The American University of Sharjah’s Performing Arts Program will present Faustus in late April, the College of Arts and Sciences announced March 20.

The performance, directed by Prof. Anthony Tassa, involves his adaptation of Christopher Marlowe’s horror play about a professor who sells his soul for earthly glory.

Tassa also designed the sets for the play, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. performances on April 23-25 and 28-30.

Faustus will take place in the Arts building rotunda. Tickets are 50 AED each. Because of the play’s horror theme, it is recommended for audiences 12 and above.
