UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – The American University of Sharjah’s College of Arts and Sciences announced in an email Wednesday it is accepting applications for the Sheikh Khalifa Scholarship until Jan. 19.
The scholarship has specific eligibility requirements. Applicants (who should have at least 75 credits) are expected to have a 3.25 minimum GPA; have rendered exceptional service to the AUS community; and show leadership potential.
Applicants are expected to submit a well-organized .pdf file including a personal statement of less than 500 words; their complete current transcript with credit hours highlighted; and three letters of recommendation. The file name should follow this format: SKS_25-26_First Name_Last Name.pdf.
CAS applicants are expected to send it to the CAS associate dean for undergraduate affairs no later than 5 p.m. on Jan. 19.
