UNIVERSITY CITY – The American University of Sharjah’s 2020 Student Council Elections will take place online on Instagram along with a virtual voting platform due to the closing down of the university because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
AUS’s Office of Student Affairs announced the list of qualified participants to run for the Student Council Elections in an email that was sent to the applicants of the campaign on April 27.
The Student Council Elections campaigns will begin on May 3 at 11 a.m. and end on May 5 at 11 p.m.
Students were allowed to apply for candidacy as part of a board or as an individual member.
The election’s voting procedure will take place on May 6.
The voting process will be carried out by the university’s Office of Institutional Research and Analysis.
The Student Council Elections are scheduled to take place under the Student Engagement and Leadership office and the OSA.
