Sharjah – The American University of Sharjah’s new Chemistry Building provides students with state of the art laboratories and study rooms.
Students can gain access to the building by presenting their QR codes at the entrance. They are also required to adhere to COVID-19 precautionary measures and wear masks at all times.
Each room in the building can accommodate a certain number of visitors, the capacity of which is specified on a sign next to the door.
“The renovated building motivates me to make the best of my resources. I am excited to work with new lab equipment as well as use the study rooms to work in peace,” said Anushna Bagchi, a student at AUS.
The renovation also includes a part of the New Academic Building. NAB includes offices of the dean and the associate deans. It also provides additional meeting and conference rooms for faculty and students.
