Dubai – Holly Holistic, which opened its doors in 2016, has rapidly evolved from a small shop to a bigger space with outdoor facilities.
The shop sells crystals sourced from nature that are believed to have healing properties. Holly Holistic also displays oracle cards, books about spirituality and pendant necklaces. According to Jhoy Celajes, a Holly Holistic staff member, visitors believe that these items bring good luck and cleanse negative energy.
Oracle cards provide messages for motivation and positivity, according to Celajes. She added that visitors feel relaxed and calm after entering the shop.
Celajes said that business increased for Holly Holistic despite the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic. During lockdown period, the shop received online orders. Holly Holistic accepted limited appointments in accordance with social distancing guidelines as the situation improved.
Celajes said, “More people have begun going into spirituality especially after COVID.”
The staff member added that the pandemic led people to approach calming practices, meditation and yoga among other techniques.
