UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – American University of Sharjah’s College of Arts and Sciences’ Student Team hosted their first face-to-face Movie Night on Feb. 8, showcasing The Amazing Spiderman.
The event took place in Hall A in the main building of the campus from 6- 8:30 p.m.
Due to limited seating available, pre-registration was required to maintain social distancing between students.
Around 100 people attended to watch with their friends while munching on snacks provided by the organizers.
Computer Science student Mohamed Saqallah praised the event saying “the atmosphere was great in terms of making me feel like I’m in an actual movie theater.”
Movie Night provided students with a break from studying as many left pleased they came.
“I’m glad I got to experience that with my friends and attend it on campus,” said Saqallah.
