SHARJAH, UAE – For the first time, the sip, listen and paint event in Aljada is themed to raise awareness on breast cancer.
The event, which is on Saturdays, first started in July.
Aiming to conduct more events revolving around art, Senior Event Manager at Arada Selina Perelini said such event started by offering something different during the summer months.
“The biggest feedback we got over the summer is that it helps with people’s well-being and their overall mood,” she said.
Perelini added that there is a demand for more sip, listen and paint events, as people enjoy the calmness of the experience.
“It was a really nice event that creates awareness among people on breast cancer while allowing them to unleash their creativity,” said Uzma Fayaz, first time visitor.
On average 80 people attended, and new people come every week.
