With the end of the spring semester, the American University of Sharjah officially ended its Silver Jubilee festivities, finishing off a year full of programs and events that highlighted the university’s accomplishments during the previous 25 years.
In a May 18 email to the campus community, Chancellor Dr. Susan Mumm sent “Sincere thanks to all of you who have led, participated in, and supported our Silver Jubilee celebrations,” as well as “the many of you who embraced our celebrations in such an enthusiastic and joyous manner.”
The university has modified its Silver Jubilee web page (www.aus.edu/jubilee) to summarize the year’s highlights, organized by topic.
