UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH — Five new and one reactivated campus organizations joined the American University of Sharjah’s annual Club Fair, held in the Student Center on Feb. 6-7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The new organizations are all interest oriented. Three are designated as clubs (Investments, History, and Artificial Intelligence) and two as societies (Student Actuaries and Cyber Security).
Additionally, the Kuwaiti Club was reactivated in this semester.
According to AUS student Emaan Kanaan, a member of the American Chemical Society, the February fair was as lively as those preceding it, and even more so because of the additional clubs.
Besides the new organizations participating, other popular ones returning included the Palestinian, Emirati, Gastronomy, Innovators, and Arabic Heritage clubs, each of which won awards for their displays.
