UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – The American University of Sharjah Career Services Office is launching its first study tour and career roadshow to Italy.
Organizers say the May 26-June 3 trip aims to boost job opportunities for CAS students by involving them in Italy’s history and culture. The trip is open to CAS students from all majors.
A March 7 email from CAS coordinators shared that the trip would take students to Italian cities including Venice, Milan, and Bologna. There would also be a visit to the Maserati and Pagani factories to discover the blend of art and science behind making sports cars.
The trip plan includes visiting the Innovative Contamination Hub in Brescia to learn and gain insights into different projects.
The trip ends with visiting an AUS partner university, something organizers said will expand students’ views on international education and careers.
With only a few spots open, the CAS coordinators are urging students to secure their spots to take advantage of this opportunity.
