UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – The American University of Sharjah is hosting a big screen set up in the Student Center where the campus community can watch the 2022 World Cup taking place in Qatar.
The Student Athletics and Recreation Department is welcoming AUS students to watch the matches live in the cafeteria area near the PCR center.
The World Cup matches started Nov. 20 and will end Dec.18.
The area will be open after university hours to coordinate with the late-night matches.
AUS students and faculty who reside on campus will have access to the matches online through the AUS satellite subscription.
