SHARJAH – Bee’ah Headquarters is hosting a light show titled “One with Nature” to reflect its theme of sustainability at the Sharjah Light Festival from Feb. 8-19.
Bee’ah operates waste management and recycling programs on the American University of Sharjah campus and elsewhere.
“One with Nature” marks its first involvement in the annual light festival, which is organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority and features shows across the emirate.
This year’s festival also includes lights projected on monumental buildings in Khorfakkan, Al Hamriyah, Al Dhaid, Dibba Al Hisn, Al Majaz and several other places.
The light shows are inspired by the local culture and tradition, as Sharjah has been internationally recognized as a cultural center.
The biggest light show is at the University City Hall, with a carnival including food stalls, play area and a light museum for visitors.
