UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – American University of Sharjah men’s’ football team defeated Higher Colleges of Technology 6-0 Wednesday in the season’s preparation match.
AUS player Saud Mubarak said each goal was scored by a different member of the team.
The entire team, he said, had been working hard and making great efforts throughout their training for all their matches.
Reflecting on Wednesday’s win, Mubarak added that the team is looking forward to similar satisfying results in future matches as well.
Another AUS team member, Muhammad Subhan Talib, echoed Mubarak, saying the team has been training since the beginning of this semester with the intention to win all their games. Talib described the team as highly motivated and eager to play.
