In 2021, Samsung and Apple – the biggest two competitors in regard to mobile devices – released the iPhone 13 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S21+ as a new addition to their iPhone and Galaxy S lineup. Although both can be viewed as very similar products, there are key specifications that create different user experiences. In terms of size, the Samsing Galaxy S21+ is slightly thicker and longer than the iPhone 13 Pro. However, the former is made from plastic and glass while the latter is made from surgical-grade stainless steel, which indicates that the iPhone has slightly better durability. The iPhone has higher screen resolution of 2532 x 1170 pixels compared to the 2400 x 1080 pixels in the Galaxy S21+. Both devices average at the same price, starting at around $1000 for each.
