UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – The American University of Sharjah’s Student Council hosted a training session Sunday for interest-oriented and cultural clubs for the upcoming Feb. 23 AUS Monopoly event.
The latter will feature booths around campus for interest-oriented clubs, while cultural clubs will be doing performances.
Much of the discussion concerned proposals, budget allocations, and promotional posters. The Student Council set a Feb. 8 deadline for proposals.
Around 40-50 people attended the session, held online, and which lasted for about 30 minutes. Most of those attending represented various student organizations. Several said they were excited to be part of a face-to-face event after the campus had been effectively closed for so long during the pandemic.
