AUS adjusts selected class timings for Ramadan

UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – American University of Sharjah announced Monday that some class schedules will be adjusted during Ramadan.

The university is rescheduling undergraduate classes normally starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays to start on Sundays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Graduate classes, which normally also begin at 5 p.m., should be moved to 8 p.m. unless an alternative schedule is agreed upon.

Ramadan is currently estimated to begin on either Wednesday Feb. 18 or Thursday Feb. 19.
