Over the past few years, the fashion and textile industry have arguably been unsustainable in their form and different practices throughout the production process. In this case, the fashion industry is making significant contributions to interest the audience by allowing individuals to represent their identities and personal styles while keeping track of the trends at that time. This constant change in trends associated with fast fashion has pushed consumers to buy more but caused severe damage to the environment. The ongoing problems resulting from fast fashion can include climate change, deforestation and pollution. For this reason, the recent trend of integrating sustainability into the fashion world is taking place with the aim of producing durable and environmentally friendly clothes. In addition, this infographic shows how sustainable fashion addresses these issues by looking at its positive impacts through the three pillars of sustainability: Social, economic and environmental.
