UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – Engineering students at the American University of Sharjah prepared for finals season by letting off steam at the final College Social Series event on April 27, in the Student Center from 3-6 p.m.
“I think all CEN students needed this; finals are coming up and everyone was … very stressed about them, but this helped us relax a bit,” said Obada Al-Hassan, a computer science student at AUS.
The event had a variety of activities for the students to enjoy, including an art table where students painted cups, board and card games, a punching box machine, and several carnival games where students could win prizes.
Popular Syrian restaurant Al Laffah was brought in as a vendor.
The AUS Student Council hosted similar events for all the colleges throughout the semester.
