UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – American University of Sharjah student and singer Reem Baqeri, won the School of Business Administration’s first “Show Your Talent” competition Feb. 1.
The contest was part of the annual “Meet SBA” event.
“I had a spontaneous intent to participate in the show and didn’t think much of it,” said Baqeri, a member of SBA’s Marketing, Operations, and Data Analytics Club. “Now that it happened and I won, I feel honored and grateful that I followed by intuition to participate,”
President of the Dean’s Business Team Carmel Saleh said, “SBA clubs are unique from others because they operate directly under the dean, making the process of organizing events more engaging.”
The clubs gathered in SBA 001 to provide food and activities to students in the Blends and Brews coffee shop as part of the “Meet SBA” event segment after the performances.
Professors judged seven SBA clubs’ performances to decide a winner.
