UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH— Traditional Armenian tapestry adorned the walls of the Armenian Cultural Club’s booth during the Club Fair, which was held between Sept. 19 to 20.

The Club Fair was held in the Main Building’s rotunda.

American University of Sharjah student and ACC President George Piliposyan said, “We decided to go with an old-fashioned themed booth in order to show our rich history.”

Some of the exhibits at the club included ancestral photos.

An array of interest-oriented, cultural and academic clubs participated in the fair.

The Armenian booth also invited visitors to participate in a card game. The club members also showed a historical presentation about the country and its culture.

In addition, the club provided visitors with a selection of dried fruits, desserts and souvenirs from Armenia.

“For future plans, I would like to organize more events to be able to show everyone our country’s culture and traditions,” said Piliposyan.

Piliposyan added that the event was amazing, and the club’s booth attracted many visitors.
