UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – The American University of Sharjah’s College of Architecture, Art, and Design has launched a series of curated environmental films to raise awareness about the impact of human activity on the environment, the CAAD Dean’s Office announced Wednesday.

Done in collaboration with Film My Design, the “Earthscape Chronicles” program consists of eight films, Q&A sessions, and talks that emphasize the importance of resilient design, food culture, and the environment amidst the presence of climate change.

Each film, no longer than 85 minutes, represents a different environmental challenge.

Professionals from the film, art, and sustainability industries will be sharing their experiences through leading talks and panel discussions after the screening of films. Attendees will be able to present their inquiries after the talks.

The films will be screened from Sept. 18 – Oct. 12 at the CAAD Auditorium. All faculty, students, and staff are invited to attend.
