March 20 Concert aids Silver Jubilee scholarship fund

UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – The American University of Sharjah will hold its Spring Jubilee Music Concert on Monday, March 20, starting at 7 p.m. Ticket sales will help support the university’s Silver Jubilee scholarship fund.

AUS’s College of Arts and Sciences’ Performing Arts Program is presenting the event at the Main Building Auditorium.

The event will feature songs by well-known artists like Fairouz and Majida El Roumi performed by the Arabic Music Ensemble, led by Dr. Albert Agha.

The evening will also feature the AUS Choir under the guidance of Dr. Damon Dandridge, and the new AUS Children’s Choir directed by Dr. Feryal Qudourah.

Prof. Natalia Tykhonova’s piano students will perform pieces by Mozart and Brickman. Qudourah’s vocal students will sing songs from various genres.
