UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH- American University of Sharjah women’s basketball team will be participating in six matches for a tournament starting Oct. 16.
The AUS women’s basketball team will be playing against six different universities at the Rochester Institute of Technology campus.
The team consists of 16 players, five of whom will be playing during each game.
Assistant Captain Dana Baerli said the team has been practicing two hours daily and putting in effort to improve their skills as they believe they have a great chance at winning. The coach said she motivates the players via individual conversations prior to each game.
