The iPhone was a remarkable product by Apple that revolutionized smartphones. The iPhone 1 was released in 2007, it was only available in the classic silver color. In 2008 the iPhone 3G was released. Although there were other phones released between 2008 and 2014, this timeline highlights the most successful models of the iPhone. In 2014, the iPhone 6 was released and the model was available in silver, gold and rose gold. The iPhone 7 followed in 2016 and was the first model that had a matte black finish. In 2017, the iPhone 8 and X were both released with a newly improved camera. In 2020 the iPhone 12 entered the market and it came with a range of different unique colors such as lilac. Finally in 2021, the latest iPhone to date was released. iPhone 13 is available in new colors and a new advanced dual camera system.
