UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH — FUEL’D Cafe launched its soft opening on Nov. 19 in the Student Center basement at the American University of Sharjah, offering students healthy and affordable food.
The café operates from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offers a menu focused on nutritious food and beverages, along with a space that allows students to study or take short breaks between classes.
“The variety of healthy options is refreshing and great for students who are keeping track of their calorie intake,” said student Yasir Smaisem.
According to Khalid Al Remeithi, Executive Director of Supply Chain, Commercial and Logistics, AUS selects campus outlets through a sealed bid process that prioritizes affordable options and varied cuisines.
“Organic is always the way to go, and FUEL’D delivers exactly that,” said Orlando Maño, a barista at the cafe.
The university continues to expand dining choices that balance affordability, nutrition and convenience for its students.
