UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH – In a Wednesday email the American University of Sharjah’s Office of Financial Grants and Scholarships asked the AUS community for its support towards the on-campus Student Food Pantry.
The Office of Financial Grants and Scholarships said that donations can be made to the pantry starting Jan. 18. Donations may directly be brought to the pantry – located opposite the welcome center, on the ground floor of the Main Building – or ordered online and directly delivered to the following address: Food Pantry, AUS Main Building, M-G10A.
The pantry provides an extra means of support for students with financial need. While a financial grant can make an AUS education possible for many students, it does not cover all the expenses a student in need may face, such as paying for food or hygiene essentials.
