UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH— The American University of Sharjah’s Community Services Office hosted a birthday party for 39 children beneficiaries of the Big Heart Education center on Feb. 28.

The birthday party was for children from Rawafed learning center, in collaboration with the Big Heart Foundation, and was for children of ages ranging from 10-14 who were born in the months of January, February or March.

According to Community Services and Outreach Manager Aisha Ali, some of the children had never celebrated their birthdays before, making it important to make sure they had a great time.

Activities included canvas and nail painting, bouncy castles and slime making, with corn, candy, and ice cream provided.

The event was held at the Gazebo near the women’s dorms from 4-6 p.m.
